Among the comedies at this year’s festival, “Sad Dam” stands out. It has a good subject and, until the middle of the film, there is a connection between the audience and the story, but in the end, it loses its coherence and cannot use the potential of the main plot.
The causal relationship in the events of the script fades and its logic completely loses its color. Another fundamental problem is that the filmmaker is apparently fascinated by Reza Attaran’s performance and has neglected the role of other elements of the film.
Reza Attaran’s acting is as usual, managing to make the audience laugh, but Parinaz Izadyar, despite all his efforts to step up to the role of the lead, does not achieve much success.
